This web site is created to memorialize all dissident Ethiopians who were murdered, tortured, raped, banished and disappeared from the face of the earth because of their political beliefs in the past and present day Ethiopia.
This site operates independent of any political party or group. It strongly advocates for a truth and reconciliation concept to take root with in the Ethiopian body politic to deal with the past war crimes and other human rights abuses to be discussed openly by victims, witnesses and even perpetrators without retribution by people in power, and strongly believe will bring about healing and closures to the society as a whole.
This site also advocates relentlessly for the following noble causes:
Immediate release of all political prisoners and the government to account for all disappeared dissidents.
Immediate session of the government from using brutal force, random searches, indiscriminate arrest and prosecution of opposition leaders with trumped up changes.
Immediate Stop to banning political parties that do not agree to the current regime’s Ethnic party system and guarantee to organize, teach, and contend for political offices with out fear of prosecution.
Formation of independent judiciary system
An immediate formation of Truth and Reconciliation Commission similar to that of South Africa, so all human rights abuses of the past and present be discussed openly by victims, witnesses and even perpetrator of the past and present without fear of prosecution.

Establish a democratic system with, accountability, transparency and good governance in Ethiopia that focuses on Unity in diversity.
To jump start this process, this site collects and catalogues true stories of victims of “The Red Terror Campaign” of the 1970’s and atrocities that are being committed by the present day regime, through testimonials of families, friends, co-workers and historians.
This site accepts and publishes articles, testimonials and political analysis that it deems educational, and promote peaceful dialogue giving a forum to all sides. For that, all contributions must be civil and tasteful.
